Do you have an interesting story about a solution that was greatly enhanced by DMTF technology? We're launching a new case study program this month to illustrate DMTF technologies in real world use, and would like your contributions.
DMTF Case Studies will focus on end-user implementations describing an environment where products from multiple vendors are in use, and DMTF technologies are the "glue." If you have an experience where DMTF-based products and components have enhanced capabilities, reduced time to market, increased features and capabilities or decreased development costs, let us know about it!
Each case study will be made available on the DMTF Web site as an educational tool and may be distributed to technology journalists as part of our national media outreach effort. This is an excellent opportunity to share your experience with other development professionals, and position your company as an industry thought leader.
Developers and PR professionals from DMTF member companies can visit the new "Members Marketing Central" page on the DMTF Web site to view the Case Study Program Framework. Then, complete the Case Study Proposal form (also on the Members Marketing Central page) to submit your idea. We look forward to hearing from you!
Formerly the WBEM Interoperability Working Group (often colloquially referred to as "Interop"), this group has been renamed WBEM Infrastructure and Protocols (WIP), to better reflect its scope and the new and restructured sub-teams that are now part of its work.
This group continues to include the CIM-XML work, and has now added the DEN Special Interest Group as a sub-group (since it relates to the ongoing work on WBEM by the WIP). This new structure will allow the groups to share information more easily and facilitate strategic synergy between them.
