DMTF Featured at BladeSystems Insight Conference

DMTF was an Association Sponsor and featured participant at the BladeSystems Insight Conference on April 10-12, 2007, in Savannah, Georgia. While at the event, DMTF executives met senior IT decision-makers and provided insights into the DMTF’s central role in the management of blade technology. In addition, DMTF President Winston Bumpus took part in the Blade Community Panel, along with Jim Hall, President, Blade Systems Alliance; Doug Balog, Chairman, Blade.org; Brad Booth, president, Ethernet Alliance; Mark Linesch, President and CEO, Open Grid Forum.

The only national executive summit focused on blade and data center computing, BladeSystems Insight enabled senior-level network, data center and IT professionals to interact with peers, preview new blade technologies, and hear in-depth case study presentations from best-of-breed vendors. The top analysts covering the blade space gave exclusive presentations. Also featured was a new “Insight on Virtualization” program that included special presentations and panels on the impact of virtualization software in the data center environment. The next BladeSystems Insight event will take place in Tucson, Arizona, on April 27-29, 2008.
